Apple loves to do puzzles, and spends the majority of his time putting them together. It is always a hoot to sit back and watch–and listen to!–him while he works, because he sings and talks to himself. He even makes up his own songs (what a talented 2-year-old) Hilarious! Here’s a simple addition fact that just occurred to me: 1 mom + 5 kids does not equal 6. Most of the time it comes out to a lot more than that. Somehow kids seem to multiply. Where there are a few kids, a few more will show up. Now, I’m not complaining. I love the fact that we have lots of friends, and after 8 years of being the only family members in the area, we finally have family nearby (and not only family, but a cousin!).

We made it to the pumpkin patch yesterday. Our annual trip to the pumpkin patch is one of my favorite times to take pictures (and probably my favorite pictures to scrapbook).
