I am Lolli (short for Lollipop), a stay at home mom of 5 kids–three girls and two boys. My husband, CandyMan and I have been married since April 1995. When I think about it too much I feel OLD! CandyMan and I just started a new company (August 2008) creating foreign language software–Peanut Butter~Language Learning that Sticks–the best on the planet! It’s scary, risky, exciting, and a whole lot of work. In the middle of all of this, I enjoy taking care of the kids, blogging, thrift store shopping, and taking as many pictures as possible. Life is never boring. Actually, most days, life is pretty good. This is my attempt to let people know it’s possible to be happy and fulfilled as a mother of a house full of children.

In addition to my main blog (which I tend to post to a few times a day) I also have a Recipe Blog (Family Food), a Project 365 blog (which, incidentally, I decided to stop doing….but the spictures are still there!), and a Photo Portfolio blog. They keep me busy, but I love it!

Oh! I also recently started a fun little meme called Give Me Your Best Shot. Every weekend, I give my blogging friends the chance to show off their favorite photo from the week. It doesn’t have to be a work of art–It’s just a fun time to link up and see what has been happening in our lives. Join me and the Linky this weekend and give me your best shot!

Update: My family has been through a few (nick)name changes lately. I started out with everyone having food nicknames, and so I was Chef. Then the kids all decided that they wanted candy names….Just recently, I figured I might as well give myself and my Old Man candy names, too, so we all fit together. For those of you who have followed me through this, I’m so sorry for the confusion. And for those of you just joining me, if you read any of my past posts, you might notice different names. Just look at the first letter of the name to figure out who’s who. Except for CandyMan–he was Peanut Butter (PB for short). Ugh! Too many people with opinions around here!
