I just typed out all of my posts about our cruise and then posted them backwards. Is there any way to change the order of posts once they’re posted? Regardless of the order, enjoy the pictures!
Thanks to Karen, I was able to fix the order! Yay! And to answer Lori’s question….the kids were absolutely fine. They missed us, of course, but they survived. Did we miss them? Hmm…Do I have to answer that?

Where do I start?? How do I begin to describe the most incredible vacation I’ve ever been on? Our cruise was better than I could have ever expected. It was a blast! We stayed busy doing super fun things from the moment we woke up in the morning til LATE into each night. Comedians, shows, massages, FOOD, swimming, dance lessons, you name it. We did it all!
Rather than bore you with ALL of the details (besides, I don’t have ALL day!) here are a selection of pictures to highlight our …

Our first adventure on shore was ziplining through the canopy of the jungle in Roatan, Honduras. We had the jungle to ourselves. Our two guides took us through 13 ziplines that lasted about an hour and a half. Strangely enough, I was not scared at all. Looking back at the pictures make me realize how precarious some of those platforms were…
Me! Wee! D upsidedown (I tried upside down as well–ouch!!)Me and Am… Thank goodness for my new waterproof camera–we really needed it in Honduras–it was raining HARD!

Second stop–Belize. Mom, Dad, Am and I took a 11/2 hour boat ride down the New River (where we saw lots of wildlife) til we arrived at the ruins of Lamanai
The big temple–Dad, Am, and I climbed to the top–Wo! So steep!!
Mom, Am, and the MASK At the top of the world (do you see the people down there?) PB, M, An, D, and Da went cave tubing. This was hailed as the “thing” to do in Belize. It sounds like it would have been better had they …

I visited the ruins at Tulum in 1993 on the last day of my study abroad in Mexico. What a difference 14 years has made! It was crowded and commericalized, but still beautiful.
My only regret was not having much time to enjoy the site. We had a great tour guide that explained a lot, but we were pretty rushed to get back to the boat in time.

Imagine a private beach in the Bahamas….and then put 2000 people on it! The last hour before our boat left was peacful, though!
Dale, Am, An (below!), D, Da, and M snorkled. Notice, no Laura in that list. I just can’t do underwater. Everyone had fun while I babysat the bags and clothes. Again, thank goodness for my underwater camera. They got tons of cool snorkling pics. That’s Dale with an old anchor. They saw a few rays, a baracuda, and lots of colorful fish.

Me, An, and Am in the pool. We only got in the pool one day. There was just too much to do.
We celebrated Mom and Dad’s 30th anniversary on the ship. We all dressed up, took pictures with the ship’s photographer, and had another great dinner. The restaurant staff sang “Let me call you sweetheart” (which Grandpa used to sing to Grandma) and then gave them a special cake. The cake looked great but was literally made of cool whip. One bite was enough! That’s me & Dale, An …

Ok–so everything escalated to the point where I really feared that my head was going to explode. Getting ready for the holidays is often hectic enough. Thank goodness we’re having a low-key Christmas and my shopping was done early! Throw in a challenging and very busy calling plus a week-long cruise, and WOW! What a month it has been! I am anxiously awaiting boarding that plane to Miami on Friday because at that point, nothing more CAN be done. Until then, though, I’m going to be running like crazy. I …
