I visited the ruins at Tulum in 1993 on the last day of my study abroad in Mexico. What a difference 14 years has made! It was crowded and commericalized, but still beautiful.
My only regret was not having much time to enjoy the site. We had a great tour guide that explained a lot, but we were pretty rushed to get back to the boat in time.
