After dropping Reese off at her bus stop (in my jammies, I must add), Apple and I returned home to eat lunch. I asked him what he wanted. He replied, confidently, “Libres!”
Not knowing what “libres” were, I asked him again. Once more, smiling, he replied, “Libres! I want libres.”
“I don’t know what libres are, Hunny,” I said.
Apple’s response: “You know–chips with cheese!”
“Oh, you want Nachos!” As I said Nachos out loud I realized what he meant…..and I couldn’t believe that my two year old knew the movie Nacho Libre that well…..
I chuckled the entire time I was shredding the cheese for him. 
PS–Apple woke up sick last night, and as I was getting him cleaned up, it hit me that I was sick, too. We’re doing fine now (it’s a quick come-and-go bug), but I officially declared today a pajama day anyway. The dishes are still in the sink and I DON’T CARE!
