All day long, I have been smelling vinegar. It’s been driving me crazy! I sensed it the strongest whenever Apple was close, but it wasn’t until the evening that I discovered the source: his socks. You see, I occasionaly rinse my laundry in vinegar and I figured that his socks got a little too much.
Tonight after dinner, I walked into the laundry room and made a little discovery: While I was having my 2-hour meeting with the Stake Primary President this morning, Apple was in the laundry room. And I thought the kids were playing so nicely downstairs….I should have known better.
Apple scooped out about half of my laundry detergent into a laundry basket, added a few pieces of clothes, and then filled the basket with vinegar. Then he took the rest of the vinegar and dumped it into the bucket of detergent. What a mess! I suppose it could have been worse…
