Happy Birthday, i heart faces!
It’s birthday week at i heart faces’! One year ago a fantastic website was born. I heart faces meant so much to me as I was branching out and trying to become a better photographer. There’s nothing quite like encouragement to build confidence, and examples from other talented individuals to build a store of ideas and knowledge. I appreciate all those who have visited and encouraged me each time I’ve entered.
This week’s theme is “Best Face” and the only rule (other than it must have a face in it) is that the picture had to be taken during the months of December 2009 or January 2010. The photos I took of this adorable daughter of a friend of mine were honestly my favorites of the whole month. How can you not love those curls and that smile? Becky, if you’re reading this, I have not forgotten about you! I am almost ready with a bunch of pictures for you. Getting sick after coming back from Florida put a damper on my productivity.

You have an amazing blog and I'm so excited to dig deeper through all of the info. I'm very new to blogging and very amateur with my photography. I'm so grateful for all that you've posted here. I'll be checking back often. By the way, this photo is beautiful! Such a cutie and the photo is so sharp. Oh, and I have a doggy/daughter story very similar to the one that you posted. Whew! What a beautiful smile! I love photographing my kids. They just love life so much, and it makes it really fun to take pictures of them. When you see a phot like the one you posted here, it just makes you smile, no matter what kind of day you have. Great job!
