Give Me Your Best Shot – PRC

4 February 2010 0 views 26 Comments

This week, AJ and I picked up our friend, Butterfly, and headed to the Resource Center. The following is my favorite picture from our day there.

Fairy at the PRC

Butterfly painted a very colorful picture of herself.

Painting at the PRC

….while AJ spent the majority of his time at his favorite table (the play dough).

Playdough at the PRC

I am glad that we got out of the house for R week in our little home preschool program (R is for Resource Center!) but AJ came home with a cold that has made him so congested that he woke up gagging (and vomiting) last night. Great. Was it worth it? Yep.

In other news, for R week, AJ is determined to learn to READ. He is doing amazingly for a 4 year old! And I have to say that I’m incredibly proud. So far, his favorite story is Zac the Rat on Starfall.com.

Now it’s your turn. What did you do this week? For those of you who haven’t played along before, GMYBS is not a contest, and it’s for any level of photographer. It’s simply a fun way to show off the favorite picture (or favorites) that you’ve taken this week.  Read to find out more about Give Me Your Best Shot….And come back to leave the link to your best shot below (please link to your actual Give Me Your Best Shot post). And grab my button below and link to me so that we can get more people to stop by! (NOTE: The code doesn’t always work when it’s grabbed from WordPress. I have tried a bunch of times and I can’t figure out an easy fix. If it doesn’t work to copy and paste, you can always just include a link back here. Thanks!)

I love those shots. The Resource center looks like a perfect place to hang out. Make a big mess with paint and just walk away. :)

The fact that the kids can paint and I don’t have to worry about my furniture is a huge attraction for me! We love hanging out there!

There’s nothing like kids and paint – as long as it’s not on my walls, I love to watch them create — they take it VERY seriously.

I’ll leave you a link to seven shots I took this week — if that’s okay?

You can always link up to as many shots as you want! I rarely if ever have one favorite shot (usually there are a few that tell a story together). You’re welcome to link up every week and add my button, too!

I’ll cross my fingers for him too. My son seems fine (full of energy) all day, but then has a hard time sleeping at night. Poor guy!

Winter is a time for having coughs. There’s no way to avoid them. And it’s not worth locking yourself up in the house to TRY to avoid them, either. Might as well have fun while you can!

Thanks for stopping by! It really is the season for colds and coughs, and there’s no way to avoid them. Might as well get out and enjoy things while we can. :)

Aww…great pictures as always Lolli. :) Thanks again for taking her. She’s been telling me she wants to have school with AJ every day it’s so fun.

BTW, I changed all of your quotation marks from curved to straight ones on your code and it worked just fine. Come over and see my picture. :)

AJ FREQUENTLY asks me “Is today a school day?” He loves it (even though sometimes you wouldn’t know that!).

Yes, I’ve noticed the same thing about the code. I have been able to do it myself, but for some reason as soon as I post it on my blog here, it “distorts” the quotation marks so that is not copyable the way it is. Strange.
