FREE Pancake Day at IHOP – February 28, 2012

national pancake day IHOPI’m heading to IHOP with my BFF this morning for a free short stack of pancakes. Yep, today is IHOP National Pancake Day and every guest receives a free short stack of pancakes ALL DAY. In return for the free pancakes, guests are asked to consider leaving a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals© and other designated local charities.

National Pancake Day has become a tradition in our family. IHOP has been giving out free pancakes one day a year since 2006, and in doing so have raised nearly $8 million to support charities in the communities that they serve.

I’ll be adding some OJ and a nice tip for my server, as well.

Will you be joining me at IHOP?

PS – a worth-while additional note. For just 99 cents, my friend and I upgraded our short stacks to one of their special pancakes. I chose the New York Cheesecake pancakes (hello, amazing yumminess!) and Safire ordered the Cinnamon roll pancakes (I had a bite. Super yummy, but a little too sweet for a whole plate’s worth).
