1000 Business Cards by Print Ninja Giveaway

‘Tis the season….for business cards! I have just spent 3 of the last 4 weeks at blogging conferences or other networking events, and my business cards were ALWAYS with me. I have been at plenty of events where I haven’t been prepared (I’ve forgotten cards, run out of cards too early, and had SO many cases of out-dated information on my cards) and I vowed to be prepared for my conferences and local events this summer.

Business card needs vary by industry, and I’ve noticed a few trends with blogger business cards that I figured I’d pass on.

Tips for creating a great business card:

  • Include a photo of you on your card. When you’re networking, you want people to remember who you are.
  • Include relevant contact information. Don’t forget to include your email address and blog URL, along with any other sites that you are active on where you’d like people to find you (LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, etc). If you’re a regular contributor on other sites, you can list that, too. I have some cards with my phone number, but not all of my business cards include that piece of information.
  • Make your business card design match your blog design – whether you simply use the same design elements, images, or colors, it helps when you can establish a connection between the you “in person” and the you online.
  • Color variety – while the entire business card doesn’t need to in color, adding a variety of colors will make your cards “pop” and stand out in the sea of cards.
  • Healthy supply – Order enough business cards so that you never have to hesitate to give away your card to a potential contact.

Print Ninja business card review

When I returned home from Type-A Parent Conference, I had a package waiting for me on the piano. The business cards inside were beautiful, and I can’t wait to give them away at BlogHer in just a few weeks. Here are some of my thoughts about my Print Ninja cards:

  • Color: the colors in my cards were spot on. Bright, vivid, and crisp.
  • Quality: excellent! The cards are made of high quality, thicker-than-I’m-used-to card stock. These cards will hold up well in the expo hall. My only concern is that my cards were printed on glossy paper, which makes writing on them difficult.
  • Customer service: before my cards shipped, I got a personal email asking about my image, just to make sure they were printing it how I wanted. I love that.
  • Value: Wow! I have never gotten so many business cards, period, but the value even for a smaller amount is incredible.
