Top 3 Reasons to Experience Disney’s Cars Land by Night

Taking a walk down Radiator Springs during the day was fascinating. I loved the rides, the music, and the general feel of Disneyland’s newest addition. But strolling down Route 66 at night knocked my socks off!

Here are my top three reasons to stop by Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure Park after the sun goes down:

  1. NEON – Radiator Springs takes on a whole new look when dressed in neon. If only to ooh and ahh over the colorful lights, it’s worth a stop.
  2. Less crowded – Enjoy rides like Radiator Springs Racers (best ride ever!), Luigi’s Flying Tires, and Mater’ Junkyard Jamboree without the day-time wait. Plus, I can tell you from experience that Radiator Springs Racers is amazing by night.
  3. Photo opps – BRING YOUR CAMERA when you visit Cars Land at night. The views, while incredible by day, are even more breathtaking at night. Add in my 1st two reasons for coming (the neon lights and fewer crowds) and Cars Land by night is a perfect place for pictures.

Disclosure: I received an expense-paid trip to Los Angeles from Disney to cover the World Premiere of BRAVE and the opening of Cars Land. All thoughts and opinions (and photos included in this post) are my own.
