The holidays are approaching fast. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before we know it. It’s officially baking season!

My family and I have a few holiday-favorites that we bake together every year, but I’m always looking for more festive recipes that I can bake to take to all of the seasonal parties and friends and family get togethers in November and December.

This weekend, I baked up these incredible brownies. Not only were they SO easy, but the M&Ms® Brand Chocolate Candies and the cheesecake brought them to a whole new level of awesomeness. Believe me, if these were on a buffet with a platter of regular brownies, THESE would be the brownies to go first.

Plus, they got the “Mom, these are SO AMAZING!” teenager approval.

I found this recipe for Marbled Brownies on BrightIdeas.com, which is full of amazing recipes. It’s true – everything is better with M&M’s® Brand Chocolate Candies!

Marbled Brownies (With M&Ms and a cheesecake swirl!)

Marbled Brownies with M&M’s

Prep time

Cook time

Total time

Ingredients
  • 1 box (8 oz.) reduced fat cream cheese
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ⅛ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package brownie mix (choose directions for the cake-style brownies)
  • 1 cup M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with the sugar. Add the egg, milk and vanilla extract. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions. Spoon ⅔ of the brownie batter into a parchment-lined 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Spoon the reserved cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Now scrape the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese mixture. Swirl the tip of a knife through the batter to make a marbled effect. Press M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies into the batter.
  3. Bake for 45-50 minutes in a preheated, 350-degree oven until slightly moist in the center. Cool completely before cutting 8×4 into 1½-inch squares.

We decided to “go festive” and use M&M’s® Holiday Blend chocolate candies. I made one batch for the family….and then on Sunday I made another batch for a get together with friends because my family was raving about them so much. Guess who brought home an empty plate?

There are SO many fun things that you can do with M&M’S® Holiday Blend. BrightIdeas.com has a ton of recipe ideas, including Reindeer Antlers, Deck The Halls Biscotti, Winged Wonders, Tasty Table Lights and Red-Nosed Reindeer. Hurry over to BrightIdeas.com for more holiday (and everyday) treats.

How fun would it be to create holiday-colored brownies for the cookie plates that you hand out to the neighbors this year?

What treats are you planning on making this year with M&M’S® Holiday Blend?
