On the Friday before I left for Utah, my sister came over to have a 2nd birthday party for Vanessa with the cousins. The kids LOVE any time that they can spend with their cousin and Aunt. We made cupcakes for her party, and I put two different frostings that I happen to have recently made. The marshmallow frosting was good, but the caramel frosting was heavenly. YUM!

We took the kids in the back yard for a big bang!
Apple was very determined to make his bottle explode, but I don’t think he ever quite got it (Kiwi helped).
This was hilarious….Andrea made up an all-about-Vanessa quiz for the kids. My kids had to write down their answers for questions like, “What is Vanessa’s favorite animal?” or “What is Vanessa’s favorite DVD/TV show?” EVERYONE got the last question right…”What is Vanessa’s favorite thing to do in the whole world?” Answer: Play with her cousins!!
Right after the party, I ran out to be photographer at a friend’s wedding. Pictures coming soon on my photo blog. Check back later for those! It was so fun, but also very tiring work!
