1 - Everything just plain looks better.
2 - Work is great family bonding time.
3 - Having six black garbage bags of things to give away feels so liberating!
4 - The kids finally have weather-appropriate clothes to wear (although I am VERY sad to report that we have yet to find the bin of Winter coats. If I have to replace everyone’s Winter coats I will not be a happy Mom)
5 - The best thing about spending the day cleaning? Finding a $50 gift card to Outback Steakhouse which I’ve had since AJ was born. Yes, it was a baby gift that we had misplaced. We happily left the kids at home and gorged on fabulous food the I didn’t have to cook! And even better….I ate so much before my meal came that I got to take most of it home for tomorrow.
To top it all off, the kids were bathed when we got home. How amazing is that?!
